RURAL / TRIBAL INVENTIONS

Mahita has been working with the two major groups one is farmers and the other is Artisans. It has catered around 500 farmers in the regions of Nalgonda and Adilabad, helped them to increase their income by training on multiple cropping, building fences, rain water harvesting, growing mango tree by forming farmer collectives to sell their products.

It has been working with artisans in Pochampally (saree weavers0 and Adilabad (Dokra brass artefact makers) to help increase their income through their enterprise. Mahita also worked on the issue of Fluorosis in Nalgonda district. It has been working in 30 villages of Sansthan Narayanpur Mandal to mitigate Fluorosis in the region.
